Franklin R. Strokoff
Founding Partner
Franklin R. Strokoff is the founding partner of Groen Strokoff O’Neill, LLC, and a nationally recognized trial lawyer who has recovered tens of millions of dollars for victims of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Over the course of his career, he has secured numerous million-dollar and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured individuals and their families.
Known for his courtroom advocacy and meticulous preparation, Mr. Strokoff does not hesitate to take complex, high-stakes cases to trial when insurance companies refuse to offer fair compensation.
Among his notable courtroom successes are a $3.146 million jury verdict, the largest reported premises liability verdict in Pennsylvania in 2020, and a $1.75 million jury verdict, the second-highest reported verdict in an intersection motor vehicle case in New Jersey in 2014.
Mr. Strokoff is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, has been recognized among the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since 2014. Since 2015, he has also been named to the National Association of Distinguished Counsel’s Top One Percent. He maintains a perfect 10.0 Avvo rating and serves as a certified arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Raised in Central Pennsylvania, Mr. Strokoff developed the work ethic, discipline, and competitive drive that continue to define his practice. He believes every successful case is built on trust, preparation, and a close partnership with each client.
Mr. Strokoff began his legal career representing insurance companies as a defense attorney. That experience provided valuable insight into how insurers evaluate and defend claims—knowledge he now uses to advocate effectively for injured individuals and their families. Before co-founding Groen Strokoff O’Neill, LLC, he also practiced at a respected Philadelphia personal injury law firm.
Mr. Strokoff earned his B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Albright College in 2003, where he served as captain of the NCAA football team during his senior year. He received his J.D. from Delaware Law School in 2006, where he captained the rugby team. Earlier, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and captained both the football and wrestling teams at East Pennsboro High School.
Outside the practice of law, Mr. Strokoff enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and at the Jersey Shore. An avid skier and lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, he values family, competition, and community.
Mr. Strokoff is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
